Our commitment to sustainability

Our employees are central in validating the most important sustainability topics following a double materiality assessment. Through surveys, focus groups, and workshops, they provide valuable insights and feedback, ensuring that the identified topics truly reflect both internal priorities and external stakeholder expectations. This collaborative approach helps us align our sustainability strategy with the needs and concerns of our workforce and broader community.

Sustainable Crop Solutions

Our R&D platform APEXbio™ delivers next generation crop products based on the richness of the natural microbial world. Our first product on the market, ACTIV by Aphea.Bio™, has a proven positive environmental impact.

Biodiversity

With its Ecostimuli project Aphea.Bio will design a novel set of indicators for soil health and biodiversity assessment. This will allow us to evaluate the environmental impact of microbial biostimulants, both on a local and global scale.

Climate Change

We aim to perform a LCA for each individual product in our portfolio. Knowing how to measure our impact is key. Together with UGent, we'll develop an improved LCA method and Ecosystem Services Assessment (ESA).
